Winter warmers….

When you wake up to thick fog and freezing temperatures, the thought of having to go out isn’t appealing in the slightest – even the dog was happy to be curled up on the sofa!! So today was a day for staying in and getting a few things ticked off a long to do list ….

…. presents wrapped, cards written and some last minute birthday gifts ordered for my other half. Men aren’t the easiest to buy for at the best of times so when you have to come up with ideas for Christmas and birthday presents at the same time it’s not easy!

The easiest decision today however was knowing which cosy knit to wear … There’s something about a cream knit that I can’t resist!

Cream bobble knit

It’s cosy, stylish and great value at £32 …. and can be worn with so many different things. I opted for the cream version but with a gorgeous bright orange and pale aqua colourway I can see myself adding another to my wardrobe very soon.

As an everyday outfit I’ll simply be pairing it with skinny jeans (as I did today) but I also love it worn here with chunky black boots, opaque black tights and a faux leather skirt.

There’s definitely something appealing about a textured knit ….. it adds an element of interest to your outfit!

With the forecast set to get a lot colder in the lead up to Christmas, now could definitely be the time to treat yourself and if you like a touch of sparkle with your outfit this gorgeous Clarissa Ecru knit might just tick the box.

If you need any more convincing that a cosy cream knit is the way forward this winter, simply watch my all time favourite Christmas film ‘The Holiday’ with Cameron Diaz  & Jude law …. not only will you fall in love with Jude Law but you’ll definitely fall in love with Cameron Diaz’s winter white wardrobe.

Enjoy! x
