You can’t have failed to notice the impact that leopard print is having on everything and anything to do with fashion this Autumn ….it’s everywhere! It’s this season’s go to look.
Leopard print has been a fashion favourite for years and it seems to go from strength to strength, season after season. This shows how it doesn’t go out of fashion – which is great news for all of us that have invested in leopard print over the years.
The beauty of leopard print is that it literally goes with anything – so much so it can be described as a neutral. It’s the print that makes a statement and can easily elevate your outfit to the next level if worn correctly. The thing to avoid is dressing head to toe in the print with matching accessories – that’s just a little bit OTT! …
…. but it doesn’t mean that a touch of leopard print can’t be integrated into your day to day outfit. That’s where accessories can play an important part (as always!) in giving your outfit the edge.
I would suggest that you don’t need much leopard print to make a statement. Transforming your outfit with the addition of a leopard print bag or shoes is my favourite way of styling a look.
Accessorising is also a great way of introducing a few key leopard print pieces into your wardrobe that can be used often and with lots of different looks. It’s also a great way to introduce leopard print into day to day outfits …. I’m quite sure it won’t be too long before you’re hooked!
So, what are my suggestions for key leopard print pieces that will last and be used year after year? I would go for leather bags, boots or shoes, because they are so versatile and can be mixed and matched easily with other items that you already have in your wardrobe.
I’ve picked out a few key items which definitely help to add a touch of style to any outfit but which are versatile and easy to wear. They key to making leopard print work is to keep it relatively simple and don’t go overboard!
… and for the days when you can’t rely on the British weather!
