As the new Spring styles emerge an ongoing trend for balloon sleeves, statement cuffs and intricate embroidery is evident …. it appears that our love for the Vyshvanka inspired blouse is still prevalent and very much a part of this season’s must have items.

It was definitely a case of love at first sight when I saw the Britta embroidered boho inspired blouse in Monsoon …. it ticks all the boxes when it comes to design. With a definite Vyshvanka influence, driven by the detailed embroidery and typically oversized sleeves, I’ve got a feeling that it’s going to be one of those items that is going to get a lot of wear throughout the spring and summer months.
It’s the versatility of this style that I love. Worn simply with jeans its a stylish everyday outfit. Dress it up with flared jeans and heels and it instantly has a 70’s boho feel to it.
Even during high summer, worn with denim cutoffs and espadrilles it will ooze laid back style.
One thing is for sure, even if you already have one or two (or even three!) Vyshvanka inspired blouses in your wardrobe, there is always room for another! With that in mind I’ve found some that have just launched on the high street and they’re hard to resist!
