I have a wardrobe full of lace tops and dresses – embroidered, frilly, long sleeve, short sleeve … the list goes on!
“Do I need another lace top?” I asked myself. In response to that question the answer was YES! It was love at first sight when I saw this pretty lace sleeveless top from the new Zara collection.
At £15.99 it’s what I would call a bargain. It definitely looks far more expensive than its price tag. The eyelash fringing around the armhole and neckline, as well as the intricate swirly rope embroidery make it very special.
The versatility of this piece makes it a must have item. Worn with a midi skirt and heels, the top instantly looks dressy and sophisticated. Keeping the whole outfit within a monochrome palette also makes it look incredibly striking. It would look equally as stylish under a blazer worn with jeans or twinned with a flowy maxi skirt or wide leg trousers.
When you fall in love with a top as much as I did it’s hard not to want it in other colours. Luckily Zara had already thought of that! It’s also available in black, red, off-white and green.
I’m a huge fan of green and it’s set to be a very popular colour throughout Autumn and Winter 2017 so it made sense to buy that one too!
The only decision you now have to make is which colour to choose …. then again, at £15.99 more than one colour is a definite possibility !
