Sparkle that you can wear any time!

It’s no secret that I love a touch of sparkle. So imagine my delight when Swarovski got in touch to ask if I would like to try one of their new summer sparkle wrist watches.

Back in 1895 when Swarovski was first founded by a bohemian jeweller, Daniel Swarovski, the vision was to make crystal accessible to more people. His mission was to ‘create a diamond for everyone’. To this day that mission continues throughout the company.

The attraction of Swarovski products is obviously the element of sparkle but also the fact that they sparkle in a very subtle, understated elegant way.

Even in 1962, when Marilyn Monroe performed a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday ‘ to President JFK at Madison’s Square garden in a dress adorned in 2,500 glittering swarovski crystals the glittering effect oozed elegance and attracted many fans.

Fashion Designers around the world, such as the late Alexander McQueen, have used Swarovski crystals as a statement in their collections and it has helped to earn the brand iconic status.

In 2009 the first Swarovski watch collection was launched. The birth of Swarovski watches meant that contemporary watch design was not only going to be combining elegance with understated luxury but mainly it was going to be at an affordable price for many.

The Swarovski watch collection offers much choice. I particularly liked the design, elegance and size of the The city mini watch.

Its design is fashionable but timeless. It is available in three colours, Rose gold tone coating, Yellow gold tone coating and Stainless steel. With a mother of pearl dial and 68 clear faceted crystals decorating the outer rim this watch is a very elegant time piece. Water resistant up to 50m it also makes this a perfect piece particularly for this time of the year when on holiday by the beach or in and out of the pool.

The City Mini Watch isn’t just a watch, it’s far more than that. In fact it is a very stylish piece of jewellery that’s sits beautifully alongside any other pieces you may own. It compliments bracelets and bangles and adds a touch of sparkle to your day to day outfit. Worn in the evening it also looks dressy and adds understated luxury to your outfit. The smaller face and delicate linked strap makes it very feminine.
