Sometimes all you need to update and transform your wardrobe is a burst of colour. Earlier this season I talked about all things yellow and whilst I’m still obsessing about yellow shoes, bags, dresses (the list is endless) it’s pink things that are really catching my eye at the moment …
It might have something to do with the beautiful blossoms and that peony season is upon us, but one thing is for sure, it doesn’t have to be the brightest boldest pink to stand out.
Whether it’s gorgeous pink floral prints, shimmery pink tassels or the perfect coral pink nail varnish that goes with everything, there’s something very appealing about pink to me at the moment.
If there was ever a colour to compliment denim then pink is it. Dusky pinks, blush pinks and soft rosy pinks work effortlessly with denim and ooze femininity.
Bolder brighter pinks work well with white and when it comes to summer dressing a splash of pink can look quite dramatic against an all white outfit. Try white jeans with a white tee and skinny pink belt or a pair of pink mules to make a statement.
Don’t shy away from colour, summer really is the best time to introduce it into your wardrobe. Whether you have dark or bronzed skin or even the palest of complexions you will find that there is a shade to suit you, and with the choice of shoes and accessories around pink couldn’t be easier to wear.
