Velvet … smooth and luxurious to the touch! A perfect description for one of this season’s must-have fabrics. The beauty of velvet is that it shows off colour with a richness and intensity, giving a look of luxury at an affordable price.
At this time of the year rich berry shades, deep blues and greens are the colours of velvet to choose. If you haven’t already embraced the velvet trend maybe the following selection of boots and shoes will tempt you.
With Christmas fast approaching, stepping out in some luxurious velvet heels or flats can give your outfit the lift you’ve been looking for. With velvet being on-trend this season it means it hasn’t been confined to dressier styles; velvet has been the fabric of choice across many casual styles too, making it very wearable and giving versatility in your wardrobe.
Whether it’s heels, flats or boots that you are after this winter I’ve managed to find a selection that should cater for everyone’s needs, tastes and budget ! The problem may well be that you are spoilt for choice and, like me, end up wanting more than just one pair. Oh well, still time to add to those ever growing Christmas lists…
