Having to replace a favourite item of clothing can be so hard if you just can’t find one that does the same job! For the last few years I’ve had the perfect chunky grey rollneck jumper – it wasn’t an expensive purchase, it was bought from GAP, but to me it ticked all the boxes. It was the perfect silver greymarl colour, it was a great fit and most of all it was cosy and so comfortable to wear.
Imagine my delight yesterday when the latest White Company catologue arrived and I immediately saw what I’ve been searching for, for so long … the perfect silvery greymarl textured rollneck jumper.
In fact I didn’t just find one jumper I loved … I found many! The jumpers aren’t the cheapest that you will find but the quality of their knitwear is superb and they are made from natural fibres which means they will be warm and cosy – which is really what we all want from a jumper.
A look that I really love at the moment is a chunky knit worn with a pleated skirt. The contrast of textures and fabrics work so well together – the one I am wearing today with my ‘soon to be replaced rollneck’ is from NEXT and is in a beautiful pewter shade.
